Screening for Anti-Dengue Leads from Euphorbia hirta L. through In Silico Methods

Dengue is a vector-borne viral disease caused by Flavivirus. Current treatment and medicine are inadequate to eradicate the vector mosquitoes or prevent disease. Traditional healers have remedies for almost all ailments using natural products plants. The well-known medicinal plant Euphorbia hirta L. one of herbs conventionally used anti-dengue even if active compound responsible exact activity against not known. rich source various secondary metabolites. In silico screening 76 small molecules drug-value belongs alkaloids, polyphenols terpenes derived from dengue virus non-structural protein-5 protease human inosine 5'-monophosphate dehydrogenase-II determined 16 biologically compounds with possible fight virus. Based on therapeutic importance drug-likeness parameters, two best leads, 2-beta, 16-alpha, 19-trihydroxy-ent-kaurane kaempferol were selected as promising candidates developing drugs.
